Pacific Graphics is set to arrive in Wellington, New Zealand (Aotearoa) for the first time ever in the Southern Hemisphere. PG2021 will be held virtually online, due to the rapid changes in Alert levels and guidance from our venue.

The 28th and 29th Pacific Conference on Computer Graphics and Applications (Pacific Graphics 20+21) will be jointly hosted in Wellington, New Zealand from October 18 to 21, 2021. Pacific Graphics is an annual flagship conference of the Asia Graphics Association. As a highly successful conference series, Pacific Graphics provides a premium forum for researchers, developers, practitioners in the Pacific Rim and around the world to present and discuss new problems, solutions, and technologies in computer graphics and related areas.

About the Conference

Joint conference of PG2020 and PG2021: Because of travel restrictions and physical distancing requirements due to COVID-19, Pacific Graphics 2020 and Pacific Graphics 2021 will be combined. Taking into account the latest updates of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the New Zealand government in 2021, we plan to hold the conference online only.

Programme

PG 20+21 will be in a four-day event with full of sessions to discuss groundbreaking research idea in computer graphics, related disciplines, and their wide areas of impacts across movies, games, arts, eXtended Reality (XR: virtual, augmented, mixed reality), and more. Our technical paper sessions will unveil the latest research achievements in Computer Graphics and applications published to prestigious journals (Computer Graphics Forum, IEEE TVCG, and Computers & Graphics) and the conference proceeding (PG short paper, Work-In-Progress, and Poster).

Three keynote presentations and five featured sessions (3-4 speakers per session) will provide opportunity for you to meet with global leaders from industry and academia. See details from our programme.

Jan Kautz Jan Kautz is VP of Learning and Perception Research at NVIDIA. Jan and his team pursue fundamental research in the areas of computer vision and deep learning, including visual perception, geometric vision, generative models, and efficient deep learning.

Marie-Paule Cani Marie-Paule Cani is a Professor of Computer Science at Ecole Polytechnique (IP-Paris, France). Her research focuses on shape modelling and animation, with contributions to implicit surfaces, adaptive simulation methods and interactive natural scenes.
